EcoTrack Services is a rapidly growing technology development and professional services company offering innovative ion-exchange resin systems for water quality monitoring and environmental sustainability. Besides being recognized as a leader in innovative technology, EcoTrack Services provides analytical and professional services to universities, other academic and research institutions and a host of private and Federal clients within the environmental market sector.

Eco-Track Services is recognized as a leader in resin based ion-exchange sampling technologiesand research. They develop new, innovative solutions for next-generation markets and are committed to ensuring scientific methods form the cornerstone for commercial acceptance. Eco-Track Services, was established in 2012 as a Small Woman Owned Buisness. Its aim is to target the advantages of new patents for ion-exchange resin testing within agricultural and environmental markets. In 2012, following several years of focused scientific studies, Eco-Track Services worked with commercial partners as well as the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) to expand its research & development capabilities and complete activities to commercialize its resin-based nutrient samplers for agricultural and envirmonmental market sectors. Today, Eco-Track Services and PNNL cooperate together in a formal Mentor-Protégé Agreement.

Leaching of chemicals into the groundwater is a major concern, and monitoring this phenomenon with current sampling and analysis techniques is difficult, time-consuming, expensive, and often ineffective. For environmental monitoring activities, safer and more effective techniques are in high demand. To that end, Eco-Track Services created a newly patented system for environmental monitoring. Eco-Tracker™ (U.S. Patent 8,763,478 B2), is a passive sampler to continuously monitor contaminant movement and measure the cumulative load of targeted elements in watersheds, urban waters, and other sensitive environmental systems.

EcoTrack Services bridges the sustainability gap between soil health and water quality by modeling soil nutrient bioavailability and aquatic nutrient loading using Eco-Tracker™ systems. The combination of these samplers provide a comprehensive and cost effective approach to evaluate changes in nutrient levels throughout watershed and urban water systems, as well as quantifying the success of conservation efforts including changes to Best Management Practices that influence environmental recovery. The technology has gained widespread acceptance by the international scientific community and the company has established relationships with Federal clientele and businesses in North America and Europe.

EcoTrack Services division controls several patent pending analytical processes and systems; used to develop resin formulations and resulting data for environmental assessment, water quality monitoring, and enforcement. Federal agencies and commercial organizations are continually investigating and evaluating new technologies in an effort to meet increasing challenges to obtain reliable, cost effective in-situ characterization and environmental data. EcoTrack Services has successfully demonstrated resin technologies and methods to meet these challenges within the environmental community. We are currently expanding our technology capabilities by developing resin formulations for heavy metals, organic constituents, and other contaminates of emerging concern. EcoTrack Services is working to become a worldwide leader in soil testing and environmental monitoring. We define ourselves as an innovative, robust small business with the capability to simply and inexpensively scale its technology to meet a broad range of applications and unique customer requirements.

EcoTrack Services is recognized as a Woman Owned Small Business and offers Timely, Efficient, Flexible Federal contracting advantages. A contracting officer has the ability to avoid expending time and resources in conducting a competitive procurement by awarding a sole source contract to a Woman Owned Small Business.  The threshold for such an award is $6.5 million for manufacturing NAICS codes and $4 million for all other codes [48 CFR 19.1306].

Contributes to Meeting Government Goals – Federal agencies and prime contractors often do not meet the 3% prime contracting / subcontracting goal that is established for Woman Owned firms.  Contracting with EcoTrack Services contributes to meeting the goals as measured by the SBA.
