At this time, Eco-Tracker™ systems are not designed for compliance assessment activities but are approved as passive samplers per ASTM guide (D7929-14). The Standard describes three classes of passive sampling technologies applicable for routine groundwater monitoring. The three classes include diffusion-based samplers, sorption-based samplers, and passive grab samplers. With the new ASTM Standard, passive groundwater sampling steps into the mainstream with traditional purge sampling methods. Uses for this technology ranges from resource recovery from waste streams, urban and storm water management, management strategies for agricultural wastewaters and associated nonpoint source pollution, water infrastructure and distribution systems through decentralised treatment, water reuse, and global sanitation. Cumulative load data provides information for the assessment of Best Management Practices including 4R nutrient stewardship and other environmental studies. Eco-Tracker™ Systems can be engineered for specific applications ranging from watersheds, estuary ecosystems, and groundwater to urban water systems such as sewers. They can be tailored to be deployed and/or retrieved on daily, weekly, monthly, or annual schedules. The sampler can be configured to deploy in both horizontal and vertical profiles and resins platforms can be combined or stacked for multiple sampling activities such as multiple contaminates. Quantitate data can be used for:
